OUR HISTORY

Drag shows have been popular for many years. But in the past the only way to see a “live” drag show was to go to your local gay bar and watch a show late at night…..usually 11:00pm to midnight. A time when people like me were, if not thinking about going to bed, where already IN bed! I felt there was a need, a market if you will, for a drag show held earlier in the evening, at a venue anyone would feel comfortable attending.

Though most everyone I talked to about my idea said it wouldn’t work, I decided to give it a try and started the MyOhMyThe Show drag show….which over time became the MyOhMyTheShow family of drag shows.

Our first few shows were at the House of Blues in downtown Dallas. In the past 7 years we have done shows all over Texas and Oklahoma. For the past 3 years or so we have held a weekly show in Ft Worth, my home city and where I currently reside.

In January of 2022 we moved into our very own venue in the Historic Flat Iron Building in downtown Ft Worth at 1000 Houston Street.

We have expanded from our initial drag show, now called La Fantaisie that can be seen each and every Saturday night at 7:30pm and have added the ORIGINAL and FIRST interactive drag brunch show in Ft Worth each Saturday and Sunday at noon and our Drag Bingo shows each Saturday and Sunday at 3:30pm.

We also do Friday night Burlesque shows and will be adding more and more shows in the upcoming months.

Last year our family of drag shows was given the Critics Choice Award by the Ft Worth Weekly as the #1 drag show in all of Ft Worth!
